In other words, our broadband broke. Cue two weeks of frustration trying to get the phone company to raise the fault with the other phone company that owns the hardware.
Lockdown, working form home, trying to launch new ventures, all without the channel of reliable Internet. It doesn't work.
All utility companies are garbage. you just have to choose the one you hate the least or pay the least and put up with the basic lack of competence.
The guys who eventually turned up to fix it, fixed it. Getting them was unbelievably tedious.
